I would have to say Java because you don't have to worry about memory management.

Some say that c++ is harder, but learning that way can make easier the learning of other languages. In fact, after you learned c or c++, almost all other languages shown in sololearn can seem easier, like java, becuase in most of them you will not have to worry about memory managment, at least as in c or c++, for example. You can learn java first because you can learn it faster, but learning that way you will learn less.

Both C++ and Java, (in SoloLearn tutorials) go through quite similar things. It should not differ much.
