If you want to make those manually, you might need some knowledge on "rotating line" basics as I call it,
a rotating line with incrementing length,
But you don't draw a line, you draw a dot and ignore the middle point as the rotating line could be.
When the:
rotate, increment, draw
Has repeated enough a sprite is created.
