COBOL: Who was him?

In the age of data science and blockchains, is there still an hard base for COBOL/CICS and mainframes? Is your AS/400 still running?

The demand for Cobol coders will remain high for decades as nobody really wants to code in it and there are thousands of existing systems that need maintaining. Personally, I got out of that in the 70s, but my first wife worked her entire career in the financial arena with it.
