Computer Science vs Software Engineering

Which is best BS Computer Science or BS Software Engineering?

Here is my take on this I studied software engineering.

Computer Science is the overall study of the software development lifecycle.

Software Engineering is the study of programming specifically and the architecture that's involved.

Of course there is more to it but that is my simple synopsis of the two.

Each have their pros and cons.
