Challenge time out

When someone else fails to finish a challenge and the opponent has scored each question correctly, does the opponent who scored each question correct win the challenge by default after the time period of the challenge expires? I’m curious about how expired challenges reflect on the daily stats.

If your opponent just leaves it, then it will expire and nobody will win.
If your opponent start, but doesn’t finish it, how many correct answers your opponent has answered so far will be their score. So you’ll probably win.
