Fighting game in Python

Question

So I've got a school project where I need to code a fighting game however I don't have all the necessary knowledge to do so. What I am asking is a way to code such a thing, and while waiting for your answers I'll be reading what this site/app has to offer on the subject. Any help would be welcome.
