Java and C lenguages

I currently read Java is derive from C and C++ so I am thinking to start learning there so if I later on decide to learn any C lenguages I Will hace a head start, what do you think?

Programming languages have two important ingredients: the commands and the logic. Many programming languages have the same or at least a very similar logic. So it doesn‘t really care, what language you learn, because a lot of languages are basically the same. Even programming languages like Snap! are a good start for learning programming.

It works in both directions, even with other languages, because all of them share a lot of patterns and ideas. So just start with any language that makes sense for you right now and look forward to learning other languages later, because they'll be a lot easier.

I have seen this I started to learn programmming in vba for Excel and from there I have found very interesting. So asfter that I have been researching on what would be my next step. The company I work for uses C# as software development program now I do not know if it should be my first choice because I heard sharp has some limitations.
