Are css and JavaScript both markup languages?

I asked this question because In an ICT textbook I saw that html is a markup language coding system used for creating documents on the world wide web(www). CSS and JavaScript also help in the same purpose. Does it mean they are also markup languages?

Nah, Only HTML Is Markup Language.

HTML= Markup Language.
CSS= Cascading (Style Sheet).
JavaScript= Programming Language.

The three are related. Html is for writing the content, with CSS you style that content and with JavaScript you add interactivity
