You know how SQL is sometimes pronounced 'sequel'? I just hope USL won't be pronounced 'useless'.

I hope that it can help codes USE LESS code...

Monical Thanks for the heads up, I will look into it

The way I understand CIL, it is a sock turned inside out compared USL. It translates the syntax of code into natural language text that is readable to layman (non-tech)
I am still looking into it further but it will surely be helpful... again thanks Monical

Not reinvent, unify Paolo De Nictolis. Have you heard of cross training in sports?

We are not talking of coding, programming of development. We are into the applied arts and science of computing.
Thus, what is USL good for. A universal script, what is it good for?

So what is it good for?

Did we have mobile apps ten years ago? Did we have Ai or Machine Learning apps?

Hahaha.. i like it to be called useless so it becomes a paradox Sonic

thought that was what CIL (common intermediary language) of the dot.NET framework was for.

What's that ?

Pascal and Logo are language for learners.. so what is USL. What is it good for?

BinaryEden thanks for the question. You are right, must link up with others

BinaryEden i am starting slow. Note that the initial use case is to learn / teach programming basics like contro & data structures

You want and reinvent a style ten years old, that is, DSL (Domain-Specific Languages): https://martinfowler.com/books/dsl.html
Metalanguages they're among us, reinventing the wheel is never a good idea in programming (well, in any field)

Let us work on making it great. Let us think Use Case...

Auto translation already exist common intermediary language (CIL). USL is psuedo to syntax of target language to compiler or interpreter
