What is the difference between TRUNCATE & DROP commnad ?

I love practical examples:
Truncate eats your salad (the actual data) and leaves the bowl (the table structure) on the counter (your database). DROP does what it says: the salad bowl is dropped! both the bowl and the salad are lost!

Drop deletes the table from the database.
