What is the difference between bold and strong ??

They looks the same, but strong also says that text is important. User will not notice the difference. It is for browsers and search engines(SEO). P.S about seo idk how they are working, but try to use it

Additionally, <strong> conveys a meaning - showing the text strongly - while <b> (for bold) conveys a method - bolding the text. With strong, your code still makes sense if you use CSS stylesheets to change what the methods of making the text strong is.

both have the same function.. but <strong> is the correct form to use <b> tag as some of the browsers don't recognize <b> tag now.. but all the browsers will recognize <strong> as a tag both will make your text bold.!!

strong means the text is of importance while bold doesnt that is the difference

Visually the browser renders strong and bold as the same. But when we want to express the text strongly from others and which is important then we surround that text with strong. If we want visually bold text then surround with bold.

It's almost same with same thickness however strong is a little more broader and denotes text that is important to that the user can identify it in web browser
