Can i use javascript to develop Android or desktop apps

I am learning javascript and one thing has confused me can i use it to develop Android app or not.

Learn Javascript first then go to learn React native, PhoneGap/Cordova, Titanium, jQuery Mobile, Meteor in which you are capable of making android application
