before you specialise on a solution try to look from a diffrent perspective.

And I also think that you should limit it to these cases.

When there's an idiomatic way to solve a task, use it.

If it's not good enough, look at the typical alternatives.

If they're all not good enough, your intuition is going to kick in and you find something creative.
