If they're free certificates, they're worthless. Otherwise I would be using bots to get certificates and I would sell the accounts.

Otherwise, Sololearn is alright to get started. Codecademy is too.

Coursera has paid and free (classes run simultaneously with both types). Eventually for-pay courses become free (or remain for-pay but with some homework/grading disabled). The paid certificates don't impress me as much as the fact that you're taking quality classes from good instructors many are willing to pay (and I've tried teaching, so I agree with the pay system but appreciate the free option).

CertifiCATIONS are more valuable. Employers will often list these as "desirable" and "preferred".

www.coursera.org offers some courses which you can opt for free certification as well, for example this one very good course I know https://www.coursera.org/specializations/data-structures-algorithms can be opted for free using financial aid option as a student.
