What happens if you have 0xp and lose a challenge? Would ur xp get negative?

If you have little or 0 xp and lose a challenge does it mean you have nothing to lose or does it get negative?

Israel Abebe if you have 0 xp and you loose an challenge then your xp will be decrease from the course. And if you have 0 xp in course too then your xp will be gone in negative and when you start winning some xp that will sum up with the negative.
