Essential Programming Languages for Electrical Engineering Students?

Which programming languages would you recommend a Bachelor student of Electrical Engineering to learn FIRST?
I mean that assume you've just enrolled in a bachelor course of electrical engineering in a university and have little knowledge of programming, what programming skills will you plan to learn first for your near future courses and projects and...
If you have specific divisions for the subfields(like Electronics, Controls, Power and Communications) mention that too.
