After java basic and GUI with swing library what is the next step to create good app desktop ?

Hello friends
I have some basic in java and swing after that I think to start with java FX . As a human I forget 😓😓
So, I would ask for the way how I study java FX using code or scene builder or other things that I don't know and some resources : projects .
second , the databases and how can I combines them with the java app ..

Swing was replaced by JavaFX so I didn't bother learning it. I used this to learn JavaFX:
