Do you need a degree to pursue a career in software engineering?

I’ve gotten so many different answers regarding a degree in which has caused me to strongly believe that you don’t need a degree but rather experience.

It depends on the employer. Some require a degree while others don't. I personally think experience and certifications are more valuable than a degree. But as far as pursuing it...no you don't need a degree.

Hi. Nowdays knowledge is more important then degree.
