Is it bad to try to learn 2 languages at the same time?

So I've been learning python on here and got a book to do some more detailed learning. I recently started to learn c++ in computer class for school. Will this hinder my ability to program efficiently?

It's better to focus on one language then moving to the other, it's time saving, because you already know how angorithms work. Learning two language might confuse you
