What programming language should I learn first.

Hello I'm 18. I'm interested in learning coding. I don't know anything about programming. Can anyone please tell me from where to start and sequence of programming languages.

First things first if you have no idea what you want to do then this question is meaningless.
Someone will tell you to learn python, someone other will tell you to start with Html yet another one will tell you to start with C or C++ or java etc.

So the first question is figure out what you want to become.

If you want to go for web development go for Html (and complete the trio with css and javascript)

If you want to learn just general purpose programming language you can start with python (easiest), C, C++, Java etc).

For data science, AI, machine learning go for python.

For game development - go for C/C++/C# etc.

For iOS development - Swift
