When I type in javac ExampleProgram. java it shows file not found what should I do please?

Question

when I click open in command prompt after holding shift and right clicking, the command prompt opens up and I type java and enter and some things pop up after that i type javac ExampleProgram.java it tells me
javac: file not found: ExampleProgram.java
Usage: javac <options> <source files>
use -help for a list of possible outcome
Any suggestions on what I should do will be deeply appreciated...😣

it is showing javac: file not found - it means you have correctly set the path variable as javac is working(it is showing an error). So chances are -there is no file called ExampleProgram.java in your current directory as you havnt written the program yet,or you gave a different filename due to spelling mistake.Type- dir in command prompt to list directories and files.and see if there is ExampleProgram.java
