As a kid, try Scratch first https://scratch.mit.edu/ to get hold of the basics like varables, functions, loops. You'll get visual/interactive results, you'll have more fun, and with the knowledge and logic acquired in the process, learning c++ will be more approachable.
Consider getting an arduino for the time you'll be coding in c++: it does miracles.

Start by completing the course of c++ in this app. Dont just read, u must practice whatever ur learning. Then u can go check other tutorials online. I recommend www.cplusplus.com
