Why JSFuck was created?

Any Idea why it came. I am also surprised it can be run as like as javascript. May be some one was getting boared with JS.

Afaik JSFuck was inspired by BrainFuck (an extremely verbose Esolanguage which was considered the hardest to learn and code until Malbolge was developped).

Like its "predecessor" BF JSFuck is very verbose since it uses just the six characters ! + ( ) [ ] ... Thus it is tedious to code und a pure nightmare to debug. But there are some fringe applications of it in the real world like code obfuscation for example.
