College vs. Bootcamp

Has anyone gone to a bootcamp? Do you think college or a bootcamp is better?

I dont want to just learn as a hobby i would like to turn this into my career.

Bootcamp will be cheaper and more specific to a language, whilst college will be more effective overall for learning more about the science of computers and what's really going on behind the screen.

Most employers do seem to prefer graduates, unless you can demonstrate your skills well enough. If you have a good portfolio site with different examples on linked in your CV.
