Is it better to develop an Android app using Java or Kotlin?

Both of these languages are offered by Android Studio to develop an app. They both run on a Java virtual machine. However, they have different fundamentals and syntaxes.

Your opinion is the only one that matters. Learn both and pick the one that fits your coding style. Kotlin is my pick as I don't like Java. I constantly fight it to do my coding.

but think of your convenience it depends upon the type of app and the professioncey you have on programming java or kotlin

In general, I would recommend JAVA because it is older language so it have a massive community online which can always help you at the point where you get stuck
