Free, Fast, No limitation.
You can host infinite number of static website as long as their code is accessible to others in github projects.

Paid options are also available. In fact Github hosting is called github pages. Lot of website and open source projects are hosted on github.

For PHP hosting I prefer hostinger in India. - Best services among free hosting service providers.

Search for github pages if you want to host on github and yes a different host for PHP because PHP is a server side scripting langauge and github pages are static. You may implement script from another server but it will become complicated
