What level of java should you have to program custom minecraft server plugins?

Well i decided me and my friends to make a minecraft server... We need to make it professional and not only based on free spigot plugins... So i want to know what do i need to start coding custom plugins

I play Minecraft for a long time for 4 years. I have my own server and it is good. I know some Java, but I didn't make own plugins. There are a lots of spigot plugins available, and they are enough for most cases. If that's not enough, use CraftBukkit or Bungee cord. There are not a lot or requirements that surpass the limitations of these plugins. You can make all of this work only using these plugins. Just search the internet and you will stumble by some amazing plugins. If that's not enough, or you want to make your own plugins, you need to have a very good base of Java. By good, I mean very good. You need to know how Minecraft was scripted and then you need to code following the coding system and functions of Minecraft. You need to link everything so the game or the plugin doesn't glitch. Then you need to make the plugin server-sided or how it can work online with other players connecting to your server.
