Is C# a good start up language to use for a basic mobile game?

I'm trying to start up a mobile app with my friend so we are both learning C# and the going into C++ and Python next but we want to use C# after we finish the course but we can't seem to start our code off for it so we wonder if C# is the best for this. please help us figure this out.

Yes C# and Java are the best languages for starting for mobile developers, in fact C# and Java are very close because they were developed by the same team, good luck
