Should I begin with java?

I am just wondering is it good to start learning java in the first place? As I am already started and finished the basics. I will start learning the object oriented.
So my question is that should I proceed in java or search for another language instead?

Trends have been showing that Java is declining in use, especially since its main purpose is for Android app development, which Kotlin is slowly taking over. With this information, I would suggest learning a different programming language. How about Python? It seems as if you've started that course already.

If your thinking of developing apps/games for android go for kotlin
