It's necessary to learn first or one could continue with challenge ?

Because i started challenges first then when i start learn sololearn decrease my xp to negative (-) , when i open a new badge .

First get your feet wet and than start challenge,don't be afraid of losing xp.
Sololearn challenges are create to help user to learn not for xp giveaways.

You can learn lot of things that are not listed in sololearn programming tutorial.

I would recommend to finish the tutorial first and write a bit of code until you have a good feeling for the language. Then start challenges. Start with low-levelled opponents.
