I love to code with RUBY!

I've learn the basics and tutorial of ruby on sololearn and other sources from Wikipedia, YouTube and articles related to Ruby programming language. It looks like I'm addicted to the language and find it difficult to learn others. Well I'm a self learner and I need motivations. What are the effective measures I can put in place to be a good ruby coder?. Am I on the right path when I start to think of creating web applications and games with Ruby? Will it be helpful to use ruby to create computer and mobile apps. What can I really use Ruby for aside web developer. Pls help me...

Ruby is not as popular as it was in 2006 but application development is possible.

If you really want to do Ruby and nothing else, I suggest that you follow the Ruby community.

Ruby is primarily used for web development, so you’re good there. As for games, you’re probably better off learning Python for simple games. If you want to make more complicated games that are 3d, than learn at least C++, C#, or Java. I’m not sure what you can use Ruby for besides web development, but you can make console applications with it.
