Yes. But I think SL's purpose is, not to make learning difficulty. It only with fill in the blank type.. May be for, Makes it logically or smartly think nature for beginners.. To make it balance difficult questions are there.

It is my assumption only. May be that also because of implementation specific.. Like if it 2 letters so they left it as %2d. It makes to compare answer easy, otherwise it takes empty spaces count, leads to wrong answer verification..
If my assumption is wrong, pls correct me anyone.. I feel the same so want to know correct one...
