HTTP is an internet protocol whereas HTML is a markup language. These two are very different things.

HTML is the markup language in which you produce data on the internet. Everything we can see on a web browser should somehow be built by using HTML. HTTP is the protocol for data transfer when you type a valid address in the address bar of your browser. In other words, HTML define the basic structure of any web page, HTTP is the way you get those structured pages on your computer and screen. Though I am not an expert, this is how I understand and imagine those concepts.
