How to close the program when it s running in the cmd?

Is there any lines to code that let me close the program by a press of a button or by writing specific input?
And is there a thing called exit condition?

Ctrl+C ☺

I think ctrl + C will do the trick on windows. ctrl + C terminates the running program on cmd prompt.
