There is no easier way. A lot of practice is the key here.
Try solving challenges. There are a lot of websites that provide coding challenges like hackerank.
Observe other's code.
Try debugging your code on your own.
Try putting the concept you learnt into a code.

Try freecodecamp. It's a great method to learn, and you practice at every lesson :)
And for sure, try to build your little own projects, even if it seems complex, you will obligated to be curious, search some answers to your issues, and understand which language(s) and technologies you got to use. Best way to learn is to build projects, and take that as a support for you learning :)

Use it in a project as you learn. This will help you learn faster because you would only be learning the practical aspects of the language i.e how it is used in the real life.

Personally, if I had had a more solid understanding of the whats, whys, and hows of data structuring - it would of been easier for me to code.
I have been learning coding for almost 2 on-and-off years.
Just now understanding data structuring and algorithms. It truly helps having solid understanding of that.
Also I love editing and tweaking other people's code when I have time.

Make small projects while learning new skills and tricks. I personally don't do that because I don't have time 😆
