Code playground alternatives-py

Question

Pretty new to programming and have been using the code playground to mess around. Are there any downloadable alternatives to the code playground? would rather not have to \ and rewrite all my code in the regular python shell or make a file, run it and find i have a bunch of errors.

Python is relatively straightforward that way, isn't it?

Just copypaste the code outta here, slam it into a txt file, only that you end it with .py - done.
