Why not normal I/O

Question

why there is no normal I/O by console or Command line interface? as a computer. It's not required GUI and it can work at GNU/Linux.
But JS+HTML+CSS is excellent work.

If you meant here in Sololearn maybe it's because input is sent only once to the server before compiling and the result is received back only once too. I don't know why but I'm sure there is a good reason.
