Web design, I would recommend CSS. For the functionality, use JS. For server-side stuff use PHP. SQL for the database.

Keep in mind, you can choose what path to take. You don't have to learn these in a specific order.

You might look after some SEO courses.
Actually, I don't know much yet about it, but for example search engine use semantics elements of your html (like headers,footer,nav...) to find relevant infos.
There is also one of the meta tag within your head element that furnish keywords for them and also the alt attribute.
