what is meant by line breaker before ending paragraph tag?

i assume its from the notes in HTML Fundamental course, HTML Basic paragraph lesson.

what it means is <p> will always create a new line. so you dont need to explicitly add <br /> tag at the end of paragraph for it to create a new line.

<br /> doesn't work on HTML5, the right tag is <br>

And btw, it isn't <br/>. It's <br />.
