Are java and c# syntax similar to each other?

I don't mean being exactly like each other
I ask if a c# programmer can easily learn java or vice versa

IMO a coder with experience in Java may *presumably* transit to C# with less hassle opposed to those without. C# borrows a lot from Java, adding some more on and for its own.

TBH I don't know how it's like the other way around (C# to Java). And considering this is a per-person opinion, I guess you would expect different responses.
