Is Kotlin similar to Swift ?

Should I start learning Swift ? I have heard that kotlin and swift are almost similar.

Yes they are somewhat similar but this does not mean that you have to learn one to learn another. If you want to learn kotlin then go for it.

All languages are similar. Not surprising given they need to become the binary computers understand. Some have tons of commonality in syntax and concepts, others are significantly different in syntax, but still share concepts. Each can be treated as a separate learning adventure or as a comparison study to what you already know. The only language I would treat as a required prerequisite is C before C++. But, most never bother and still manage to learn it.
