Question

Am a beginner in programming.... I have zero knowledge on any language.... My teacher is teaching me pascal language... Where will it help me? Who will help me on how to start in programming

Start with web program before sinking to app based program.

No, just... Stop learning pascal, it will not help you.
Try to learn the programming basics and later go to Python or C++, but no Pascal...

It depends on what you want to do with programming;
if you're into game dev try C# but I honestly, recommend python because it's way much easier;
but if you're into web development then the path is a bit long, start with HTML Wich is not a programming language but it's a basic knowledge you must learn, then CSS, then JS,...
if you're into software development then it's Java and kotlin,..
but if you're into electronics then you must learn C and C++ and maybe python as well

I suggest starting on the Web Developer track to get a base understanding. Spend a few weeks mastering HTML and CSS to start :)

Patrick Irungu I recommend learning C before C++. It's because C++ has a lot more complicated features and you may not be able to keep up with it as a beginner. C, however, is simple and all fundementals of C can be applied to C++.

As for C++ being C, but with more features was somewhat true in the past. However, over the years, it has become its own language.

Dylan Baker it does not take few weeks to master HTML and CSS, I understand people consider HTML and CSS easy compared to real languages, but its just impossible to master anything in just few weeks, maybe learn the basics yes, but not master, especially CSS, there is a reason this language has become a meme.

In as much as you are a beginner, the bulk of the entire decision about what stack to start with still depends on you.
What I mean is, you have to decide the aspect of programming that interests you the most. There are plenty of them:
front end web development, backend web development, data science, Machine Learning, Artificial intelligence, Embedded systems programming etc
and then, start learning the required languages. Once you have mastered the stack, switching to another stack is easy.

I think that you should use some web-based website, like SoloLearn, to teach you programming. The reason you shouldn't learn Pascal is because it doesn't seem beginner-friendly, nor will it get you anywhere because it's not commonly used anymore.

I said what, not if you are doing it.
I mean if you are studying it in a university or something because you said that who is teaching pascal to you is a teacher. Knowing that could help people to advise you better.
