Why do i get so little time for choosing an answer?

Each time i start a battle and try to pick an answer it doesn't give me enough time. Just one extra second would help. I am sorry for my English it is not my native language.

It is how Challenges work.
Just practice and you will get comfortable as time goes by.
Make sure you challenge people with the same level as you as the questions can be easier until you get comfortable. Also do not get nervous and focus more on understanding the code.
