Is python a good start for a beginner

If you want something easy at start yes, but it will be a bit harder later if you want to learn more or switch.
I started with C++ and because of that I could understand close to any other language because of that.
So python yes if you want an easy start, but if you want a hard but later great start with other languages than C/C++
