Dev C++ for C++ and C programming

Is Dev C++ IDE good for C++ and C programming? I tried using CodeBlocks but the complier does not work so I used this instead and it works well. Is it okay?

The main difference is in codeblocks one can do projects and maintain it easily. Whereas in Dev C++ one can learn programming easily and IDE is more supportive.
