I am just starting to learn python and the operations of pygame, was wondering what was the extent of complexity python can handle when it comes to coding a game. What is the most advanced game you can recreate in python with pygame

I suppose its entirely up to the dedication, but Python is responsible for some major AAA titles. Also Godot is an up and coming game studio that has Python like syntax and it incorporates Python and several Python packages 👍👍
