In notepad and save it with htmls extension ".html". eg: "filename.html"

You can write html even in notepad. But I would recommend notepad++ or Sublime text editor for better experience.

write in notepad then save as a .html file and open in a web browser. the trick, though, is that when you save the file you must put the name and extension (which will be .html) in quotes. for example “myfirstpage.html”
