How do I make amazing shapes from avg path?

I know how to make shapes but the problem is that it's difficult to locate points on webpage
Can you tell me a app or website from where I can create shapes and then get to know about the coordinates

I was making a ship from avg but I didn't know the points so it took me half an hour to make that single ship.Please help

Try vector drawing tool. You can simply draw the shapes then export the svg code.
