But you need to do some certification course related to testing , it's better way for company will recognise..

I suppose yo can, I mean I come from Economics, and I'm shifting to Data Science and IT field. In any case, I think the most important thing you should consider is to have your goals as clear as possible, and even if you're not pretty sure of what IT's subfield you want to work on, you'll know it as you keep walking and learning from every source is at your disposal. I'm pretty sure you already knew this answer!!!
