Why in HTML, there are always the < > part and <\> part? I dont understand. What if I delete the <\> part?

It is basic syntax for html tag.

<> tells the browser what to display.

If you don't write <> and </> then it will not consider that it's tag. And without <> it'll be only simple text which is similar to notepad text.

So it's necessary to write <> for web development.
